The School of Foreign languages has launched a four-month intensive practice for 22 professional masters of subjects (English) teaching of grade 2020 to effectively improve the quality of professional master training, implement practice training and strengthen the teaching abilities of postgraduates.

On the afternoon of September 13th, our school held an educational mobilization meeting before setting off. Deputy dean Li Ming, associate professor Liu Yongqing, graduate advisor Xiao Meng and all professional masters in subject teaching (English) attended the meeting. At the mobilization meeting, deputy dean Li emphasized the importance of practice during cultivating process and the requirements, introduced the basic information of Wuhan Optical Valley Experimental School and the cooperative relationship between schools and required all the students to cherish and treat this internship seriously. Subsequently, associate professor Liu gave detailed information of specific task and arrangement during the internship and the assessment materials to be submitted after the internship. Graduate Advisor Xiao further required students to follow regulations including the epidemic prevention and control regulations, practice discipline and safety management, while complete their task and demonstrate the spiritual outlook of South - Central University for Nationalities.

After the mobilization meeting, associate professor Liu led all the students to participate an informal discussion about internship and arrangement in Wuhan Optical Valley Experimental School.

This year, it is the first time for our college to arrange masters of education to have concentrative practice in Wuhan Optical Valley Experimental School. Our college had done enormous researches on selecting and contacting the place of internship before settling on the Wuhan Optical Valley Experimental School. In the following four months’ internship, our college will further implement the cooperative guidance system between tutors and internship instructors to promote the practical skills of professional masters and strengthen standardized management and assessment.
