Noticeon the Application of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Programfor College Students in 2020

Inaccordance with the spirit of “Notice of the Ministry of Education on theImplementation of the National Undergraduate Innovation and EntrepreneurshipTraining Program (No. 5[2012] of the Ministry of Education)” and SCUNManagement Measures for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities (No.43[2018] SCUN), the university has decided to launch the project applicationfor the 2020 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for CollegeStudents. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I.Plan Objectives

Throughthe implementation of innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program forCollege Students, the aim is to promote the transformation of our school'seducational ideology, to promote the innovation of talent training mode andteaching method, and to strengthen the training of innovation andentrepreneurship, enhance students' innovative ability and entrepreneurialability on the basis of innovation, and cultivate high-level innovative talentsto meet the needs of the construction of an innovative country.

II.Plan Contents

TheInnovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for college students includesthree categories: Innovation Training Program, Entrepreneurship TrainingProgram and Entrepreneurship Practice Program.

1.The Innovation Training Program is a team consisting of two to fiveundergraduates. Under the guidance of instructors, students independentlycomplete the design of innovative research projects, preparation of researchconditions and implementation of projects, writing of research reports,result/academic communications and other work.

2.The Entrepreneurship Training Program is a team consisting of two to fiveundergraduates. Under the guidance of their instructors, through thepreparation of business plans, carrying out feasibility studies, simulating theoperation of enterprises, participating in business practices, writingentrepreneurial reports, etc., team members could master the basicentrepreneurial skills, learn about entrepreneurship processes and methods andrelevant regulations and policies.

3.The entrepreneurial practice project is a team consisting of undergraduates,having 7 main members. Under the joint guidance of school instructors andenterprise tutors, the team independently seeks business opportunities,integrates resources, sets up enterprises and self-managing enterprises, reallyexperiences the processes of business registration, creation, financing,operation and risk management, thus to master the entrepreneurial theory,methods, laws and regulations.

III.Financial support

TheInnovative Training Program for college students is divided into three levels,national, provincial and school level. The amount of funding (due to changes)will be announced after the approval of the university.

In2020, there will be 60 projects graded as national level, 60 graded asprovincial level and 120 graded as school level. The specific number ofprojects to be approved and the funding support shall be subject to theissuance of the following notification documents.

Theuniversity will adjust the funding according to the project implementationquality. For the projects with excellent performance and requiring additionalfunding, the person in charge will submit an additional funding report, and theschool will increase the funding according to the expert's argument. For theproject that is poorly executed, the school will recover all the funding.

IV.Application Principles

Innovationand Entrepreneurship Training Programs shall obey the principles of“interest-driven, self-learning, focus on the process. The projects willbe managed in accordance with the publicly selected, voluntaryapplication, quality-based funding, standardized management. For detailedinformation on application conditions and subject selection requirements,please refer to the document Notice of SCUN on Administrative Measures onInnovative and Entrepreneurial activities for college students (No.43[2018]). The carrying period of 2020 projects shall be run from June 2020 to2021.

V.Time Schedule of CFL Work

1.Students who applied for the innovative training project will submit theapplication materials (project application form) with the name of “College +Name of Responsible Person + Project Category” and submit them to the collegebefore June 12th. The college will organize an expert group to conduct defensereviews and decide the result. After public announcement on the officialwebsite, the passing projects will be submitted to the College of Innovationand Entrepreneurship.

2.Entrepreneurship Training Program and Entrepreneurship Practice Program.

Studentswho applied for entrepreneurship training program and entrepreneurship practiceprogram shall submit the application materials (project application form, PPTdisplaying in 3-5 min, business plan) with the name of “College + Name ofResponsible Person + Project Category” and submit them to the college beforeJune 12th. The college will send them together to the College of Innovation andEntrepreneurship.
