On the afternoon of November 20th, the School of International Education and the School of Foreign Languages organized Party members to visit a special exhibition on China’s fight against the COVID-19 epidemic with the theme of “Putting People and Life First” and relived the time when the heroic people of this heroic city of Wuhan went through the difficulties and restored from the crisis.

This exhibition consisted of the prologue, the tail hall and six themed exhibition areas, namely "Planning with wisdom and Steering for the right direction", "Life and Death Strikes, Arduous Hardships", "Heroic City, Heroic People", "Help from all Sides and Solidarity in Times of Trouble", "Revival after the Epidemic, Reborn from the Fire", and "Union and Cooperation in a Shared Destiny ", containing 21 units in total. The 9000-square-meter exhibition hall, along with 1445-meter exhibition line, displayed more than 1,100 photos, 33 large-scale scenes, and 18 interactive sites, vividly recreating the magnificent history and touching moments in the form of a timeline. In the exhibition hall, a series of on-site restorations such as the holographic phantom scene based on the life and death rescue of medical workers in ICU wards, the real-scene exhibition area of mobile cabin hospitals and the construction site of the Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals have aroused strong resonance and heated discussions among Party members.

After the visit, everyone agreed that this special exhibition was of great significance. And they were shocked, and moved. By revisiting the course of fighting the epidemic, they had a deeper understanding of the great spirit of battling the COVID-19 epidemic: putting people's lives first, nationwide solidarity, sacrifice, respecting science and a sense of shared destiny. These ordinary and extraordinary heroes threw themselves into the battle without hesitation to restore peace and tranquility to our people. As workers of higher education, we must learn from these heroes, and vigorously promote the great anti-epidemic spirit by working together to turn the spirit into the driving force of work, in the hope of contributing more to the school’s "14th Five-Year" construction.
