2+2 Joint Education Program between University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UW-L) and South Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) 

This program is designed for Chinese students enrolled by South Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) to major in English Language and Literature or Business English. In Year 1 and 2, students pursue a program of study to obtain at least 20 credits per semester and fulfill the UW-L’s requirement for General Education credits. Students are required to obtain a 550 PBT/73 iBT TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS (none of the categories can be below 5.5) score for admission to the program. In Year 3 and 4, SCUN students enroll as UW-L’s study abroad students in UW-L for two years to undertake a restricted enrolment of specified 2 years courses offered by UW-L. Students, upon successful completion of the requirements of both SCUN and UW-L, shall be conferred Bachelor’s degree in English by SCUN, and Bachelor’s degree in English (emphasis in rhetoric and writing) by UW-L as well.
