Resume
Zhigao XU received hisPh.D. degree in Non-ferrous Metallurgy from the General Research Institute for Non-ferrous Metals in 2010. He had worked at the Wuhan Institute of Technology(2010.07-2016.05) and then he joined the South-Central Minzu University in 2016 and was promoted to full professor at the year of 2018. He visited the University of Alberta to work as an academic visitor from 2014to 2015. His project has been supported by the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University. He has been the member of the Committee on Comprehensive Utilization of Non-ferrous Metallurgical Resources of ChinaNonferrous Metals Association since 2018. He has taken charge of 3 programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and 4 ministerial level programs,such as New Century Excellent Talents in University, Excellent Youth founds forNatural Science Foundation of Hubei Province. He has published 80 peer-reviewed papers, 40 of that have been indexed in SCI/EI,2 papers have been awardedas“FRONTRUNNER 5000-----TOP ARTICLES IN OUTSTANDING S&T JOURNALS OFCHINA (F5000) ”. He has 15 granted National Invention Patents and is applying for2 PCT International Invention Patents. He has received 3 provincial-levelScientific and Technological Progress Awards for his outstanding work.
