On August 19th,The international Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry published an online article titled "Identification and Differentiation of Wild Edible" by the School of Pharmacy, South-Central University for Nationalities2. Cover article on the new halifax based on Lipidomics Profiling combined with Principal Component Analysis.Master candidate Yang Fu is the first author, associate Professor Zhou Li and Professor Liu Jikai are the corresponding authors.

In this study, the lipid profile of eight rare edible wild fungi was systematically elucidated for the first time based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem high resolution mass spectrometry. At the same time, combined with PCA, PLS-DA and other stoichiometric methods, differential lipid molecules in different wild fungi were screened out as potential biomarkers to distinguish different wild fungi species. This study provides a new way to identify fungal species from the perspective of lipidomics. At the same time, this study will help consumers better understand and evaluate the nutritional value of wild fungi.
