Recently, student team of Scholl of Management named “Purple Party” won the first prize of 35th GMC in China’s zone. For that, our reporter interviewed the team leader-Chen Zheng from H.R. Profession of Grade 2012.
   When Chen Zheng heard about the GMC, she was a freshmen, sitting in the classroom of Principle of Management and starting the idea of participating in the competition. Two years later, Chen eventually achieved her ambition as a junior with lots of suffering and hard working.
   In the preliminary contest, Chen didn’t have enough time to search for the partners and attended in the competition as individual mode which was allowed luckily. On the beginning, without the experiences, Chen felt nervous, terrified, and also lacked the self-confidence. However, God helps those who help themselves.She won the offer to the final contest. After that, she connected with Fang Jinxing, Lan Lan, Lu Jiazhen and Sun Tianxiang, who had the experience of the preliminary contest and set up the Team “Purple Party”. In spite of the fact that every one of the team came from different grades with different knowledge of disciplines, the new team worked well based on the trust, understanding and toleration. The members prepared the competition in the rest time because of the heavy study. During the competition, the members clarified the responsibilities according to the professional knowledge and capabilities. When the members faced with the competetors from Tsinghua University,  they encouraged each other, balanced their mind and got better gradually . From first to the final, under the guiding of Professor Zhang Qiulai and Professor Dong Yinhong, they finally won the first prize and became the standing-out in our school of Management.
   Lastly, Chen providede some suggestions with us according her experience. Firstly, it is important to build solid confidences and never give up easily. Besides, no matter what happened at the beginning, balance yourself and try your best on the next things. In the meanwhile, she hoped that not only should those who wanted to participate in GMC attach importance to the professional knowledge, but  they should  they keep eyes open on the knowledge about computer and mathematics as well.
