SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT


     The school consists of 8 departments: the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Financial Management, the Department of Accounting, the Department of Tourism Management, the Department of Marketing, the Department of Human Resources Management, the Department of Information Management and the Department of Information System. The school has the first level Master's degree in Business Administration discipline, it contains 4 secondary master's degree authorization centers: Business Management, Accounting, Tourism Management, Technology Economics and Management and MBA. The school has an enrollment of 2400 students, comprising 200 undergraduates,  MBA students.
 
  The school contains of 9 institutes and research centers: Institute of Business Administration, Institute of Accounting and Financial Management, Institute of Management Information Engineering Research, The Research Center of Tourism Development, The Research Center of Regional Market, The Research Center of Universities’ Prevention and Early Warning (Provincial), The Teaching Demonstration Center of Experimental Teaching for Economics and Management (Provincial), The Education Centre of MBA. It also contains of two academic teams and one Academic and Research institution.

  The school owns a qualified faculty of 76 members, of whom 10 are professors, 38 associate professors, and 29 Master's Supervisors. It has a strong faculty body in research and scholarly activities. Over the past few years, our faculty members have published over 500 research papers and 30 books and received 20 major awards for their academic excellence. The school focuses on the academic communication and coordination with universities around the world. In recent years, we have built close relationship with the universities and colleges in the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Korea and other countries. A lot of visiting scholars from the U.S., Japan, Korea, and most prestigious domestic universities and celebrated entrepreneurs from giant businesses are invited to deliver academic speeches and share their careers and experiences with our faculty and students.

  The school also focuses on training of students’ comprehensive quality and innovation ability; strengthen the construction and management of practical teaching. It contains of 25 practice bases: International Travel Agency of South-Central University for Nationalities, Wuhan Heavy Duty Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone Management Committee and so on. Meanwhile, variety of innovative practices have been organized, and won awards from “challenge cup” competition, “National Career Planning of Undergraduate Competition”, “National College Marketing Competition” and so on. Our graduates have good professional skills, high quality, and practical ability. Graduates by employers favor and praise.
