|Five Undergraduate Students of the School of Fine Arts Achieved Good Results in the Chinese Hand-painted Art Design Competition|

Recently, students of School of Fine Arts participated in the fifteenth China Hand-painted Art Design Competition, sponsored by the China Institute of Interior Design (CIID) , a branch of Architectural Society of China.According to the organizer's announcement, the works of five undergraduate students majoring in environmental design in Grade 2017 of the School of Fine Arts were awarded the third prize in sketch category, namely:Little HalfTea Restaurant by Zhou Meijunn, Meeting Venice by Huang Yongsheng, Face to Face with Past and Future by Wang Yuqian, 711 Steak House by Huang Qian and Back to Pingyao by Jia Xuan.
The competition, sponsored by the Organizing Committee of the China Hand-painted Art Design Competition, started in January 2018 and ended on November 30th. Altogether 980 works of 935 participants were collected.The works in the competition cover a wide range, including buildings, indoors facilities and landscapes. The painting techniques are varied. Works with watercolor, powder, pencil, chalk, marker, pen and so on are involved.
It is reported that the award-winning students are selected and guided by the North Region Art Design Training Camp of the School of Fine Arts.Through participating in this competition, the communication between the students majoring in environmental design and other design institutes has been strengthened, and the innovative design consciousness of the students has been stimulated.
