On the evening of June 10, 2022, the course team of "colorful China" invited Professor Li Jinlin, President of South-Central  Minzu University, to give a special education lecture on "adhering to the comprehensive, whole process and all-round 'SanQuan' education and cultivating new generation of the times who shoulder the important task of national rejuvenation". This lecture was presided over by Wei Dajiang, Secretary of the Party committee of the College of Marxism. In addition to classroom students, members of the theoretical learning center group of the Party committee of the College of Marxism and some graduate students attended this lecture.

President Li Jinlin explained around three issues: Why does the general secretary attach so much importance to the work of 'SanQuan' education? What does 'SanQuan' education mean to the cause of national higher education and the growth of young students? How should our school improve the effectiveness of  'SanQuan' education?At the end of the lecture, President Li Jinlin sent a message to the participating teachers and students. He hoped that every student would have a chance to shine in life. Everyone in South-Central  Minzu University could become a model practitioner of the cause of national unity and progress, work together to create a new situation in the work of 'SanQuan' education and meet the victory of the 20th CPC National Congress with high-quality work results.

Yang Jinzhou, Dean of the Marxism Institute, summarized the lecture. First, we should hold high the banner of good thought and set up a ideological and political curriculum system with Xi Jinping's thought with Chinese characteristics for the new era as the core.  Second, we should take the opportunity of implementing the political inspection feedback of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission to further promote the reform requirements of "four in one" and comprehensively improve the quality and level of the college's courses. Third, we should improve the level of discipline construction and actively play the leading role of Marxist discipline in the field of philosophy and social sciences of the University. Fourth, we should focus on team building, closely combine the political and ideological education of the team with the improvement of professional ability, and improve the ability and level of Building Morality and cultivating people. Fifth, we should build a high-level and high-quality education system to provide organizational guarantee for 'SanQuan' education.
