On the morning of June 16th, Chen Yanyu, the director of the Department of Situation and Policy of the School of Marxism at Chongqing Technology and Business University, and his team visited our school for an exchange and discussion. Vice President Teng Shuai of our college, Professor Zhang Taohua, the head of the "Current Situation and Policy" course teaching team, and team members Teachers Zeng Hongyu and Ma Huiling attended the symposium, which was presided over by Teng Shuai.
At the symposium, Teng Shuai, on behalf of the college, delivered a welcoming speech, extending a warm welcome to Chen Yanyu and her team. He expressed the hope that the two colleges could have in-depth exchanges on the construction of the "Current Situation and Policy" course and continuously improve the quality of course teaching. Chen Yanyu expressed her sincere gratitude to our college for the warm reception and hoped that this exchange could strengthen the construction of ideological and political theory courses and deepen the cooperation and exchanges between the two colleges.

Subsequently, Teacher Zhang Taohua shared the construction experience of the "Current Situation and Policy" course (a national first-class course) from four aspects: concept and thinking, course characteristics, teaching design, and reflection and evaluation. He stated that classroom teaching should focus on problem-oriented approaches, concentrate on current hot and difficult issues, pay attention to the regular assessment of course grades, and continuously enhance students' learning and thinking abilities.
During the exchange and discussion session, the attending teachers, based on their own teaching work, engaged in in-depth exchanges around the pain points and difficulties in course construction as well as development ideas. They shared experiences and insights on how to integrate teaching resources, improve classroom teaching methods, and enhance the professional competence of teachers. Both sides attending the meeting agreed that this exchange was a good start and that they should take this opportunity to further strengthen communication and cooperation.
