On the morning of April 23rd, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Reading Festival of the school and the release of the 2024 Annual Reading Report of the library were held at the Academic Exchange Center. School leaders, heads of relevant departments, and representatives of award-winning teachers and students attended. The opening ceremony was presided over by Vice President Ma Yutang. The event announced the "2024 Annual Reading Report" and the list of winners of the "Reader Star" and "Scholarly College" awards for 2024. Our college was once again awarded the title of "Top Ten Scholarly Colleges of South-Central Minzu University". Xu Yeqin, secretary of the Party Committee of the university, presented awards to the winning units.

Xu Yeqin pointed out that the Reading Festival is a measure to implement the new ideas and practice the spirit of the 20th National Congress. It helps to build a scholarly campus and guide students to enhance the "five recognitions" and establish a correct view of ethnic groups. He encouraged students to make reading a need and a love in the era of artificial intelligence, using reading as a vehicle to become "deep divers of civilization", "wise ferryman", and "passers of the torch". At the same time, he required all units to work together to contribute to the construction of a scholarly campus and other endeavors.

Our college attaches great importance to creating a reading atmosphere, improving the quality of talent cultivation through reading, and organizing various reading sharing activities, organizing teachers and students to read together, and building a scholarly college ecosystem, so that teachers and students can share the joy of reading and spend wonderful times together.
