On the evening of December 7, the second session of the training course for grassroots cadres, part of Hubei Province's "Face-to-Face with Theoretical Hotspots" practice base, took place at our university's Academic Exchange Center. Vice Dean Zhu Lei, along with teachers Qin Xiaolin, Wang Yiyi, Dong Meihao from the Department of Ideological and Political Education, and over 100 undergraduate students specializing in ideological and political education, engaged in discussions with 30 participants working on the grassroots frontlines in Enshi Prefecture.

The discussion, themed "Rooting at the Grassroots to Paint Youth, It's Time to Take Action," proceeded through group discussions. During the experience-sharing segment, the participants shared their work experiences and typical case studies. They discussed the challenges and solutions they encountered in efforts such as rural revitalization, grassroots party building, and comprehensive governance and stability. They also expressed their earnest hopes for the students' future development, encouraging them to root themselves in grassroots work, sharpen their skills and capabilities, merge their "individual selves" into the "greater self," and fulfill their personal value.

In the interactive exchange session, our students, expressing uncertainties encountered during their studies, discussed issues related to research, academic pursuits, and personal development with the training course participants.

Zhu Lei, Wang Yiyi, and Dong Meihao each provided feedback on the discussion and expressed sincere gratitude for the participants' generous sharing and guidance towards our students. This discussion session created a bridge for communication between students and grassroots cadres, offering fresh perspectives and directions for fostering rural development and revitalization. It marks a new beginning for deepening the collaboration between the university and the local community, also laying a strong foundation for training more outstanding talents dedicated to serving grassroots communities and rural revitalization efforts.
