On the morning of April 7, 2022, vice president Song Fajun and his delegation went to classrooms 415 and 222 of No. 15 teaching building to listen to the two courses of the history of Ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China and the history of the Communist Party of China. They had in-depth exchanges with teachers and students to learn more about the teaching situation of our college.
Song Fajun and his delegation first listened carefully to Professor Liu Qichun's lecture on the history of Ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China in classroom 415. After class, vice president Song Fajun talked with Professor Liu Qichun and commented on the teaching contents, teaching design, teaching methods and teaching effects. He fully affirmed professor Liu’s full preparation and accurate grasp of academic frontier issues. He also praised the students' serious listening and positive thinking, which made the teaching effect good. Professor Liu Qichun expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the University for their affirmation and guidance on the classroom teaching effect. In the future, he will continue to pay more attention to and invest in the undergraduate classroom teaching, constantly improve the teaching content and methods, and improve the teaching effect.
Subsequently, song Fajun and his delegation listened carefully to the course of "history of the Communist Party of China" taught by associate professor Qu Xiaolin in classroom 222. After class, vice president Song Fajun had a cordial conversation with teacher Qu Xiaolin, and fully affirmed her teaching design, teaching methods and interaction ability. Because of her efforts,the students listened carefully, had a high participation rate and gained a lot. Qu Xiaolin expressed her gratitude to the school leaders for their attention and guidance to teaching. She will continue to work hard to improve the teaching level in the future.
After the class, Song Fajun further inquired about the course teaching design, the use of teaching cases, PPT display, the application of learning software and other issues in the classroom teaching. He also stressed the need to grasp the correct political direction of the "four histories" course, adhere to the guidance of historical materialism and dialectical materialism, guide the students to grasp the laws of history, grasp the initiative of history, and truly listen to and follow the party.
The school leaders' participation in the classroom system is an important measure to continuously strengthen the quality of undergraduate classroom teaching in recent years.
