On the evening of May 6, Bianjing, Secretary of the Party Committee of South-Central  Minzu University, gave an educational lecture on "Learn the history of the Chinese Communist Party and shouldering the mission of the youth" in the academic hall. This lecture was hosted by Teacher Qu Xiaolin from the School of Marxism. Participants included the head of the Marxist School, some teachers and students of "Colorful China" class and "Situation and Policy" class, and the 91st party school students of the Marxist School.

Bian Jing launched the party class from three aspects: "comprehension of the greatness of the party in a hundred years of glory", "enhancing confidence in victory in the changing situation", and "experienced hard skills in the age of prosperity". He summarized the party's century-old history with four key words: "opening the world", "changing the world", "shaking the earth", and "upholding the earth" and also summed up the great contributions of the party. He led the students to clarify the historical context and strengthen their belief in victory. Subsequently, the secretary summarized China's current development status from both domestic and international perspectives. Regarding how we should build a new development pattern in the new stage of the country's development and continue to increase our confidence in the Communist Party of China in achieving high-quality development, he quoted Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping's words to the youth, encouraging contemporary youth to shoulder the important tasks of the times and put forward the requirement that youth must have ideals in mind, embrace the world, integrate into the times, and unify personal and social ideals to the students. He hoped that his classmates should study hard, play less games and mobile phones, learn and think more and record and practice more. He added that we must love work, establish the concept that work creates value and happiness, improve one's own hands-on ability, and realize the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical education, and art.
Wei Dajiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, made a summary. He believed that this ideological and political class is of great significance. Through the narration of Secretary Bian Jing, we can clearly realize that our party is a party with a sense of historical mission, our nation is a nation that wants to integrate history into our blood and our youth are youths with historical responsibility. He hoped that the students would attach importance to ideological and political courses and learn ideological and political courses well in their future studies.
