The School of Continuing Education, serving as a functional division of South Central University for Nationalities (SCUEC), offers degrees, certificates and training programs for professional development. In December 2008, the Training Center of Ethnic Administrators was set up in the School of Continuing Education, launching a transition program of continuing education with a focus on the development of comprehensive training of the party and government work as well as the training of skilled personnel. Thereafter the College Training Base for Administrators was conferred on SCUEC by the Organization Department of CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Hubei Provincial Department of Education jointly.
