田阳光博士毕业于澳大利亚伍伦贡大学计算机科学系，现任职新加坡管理大学博士后研究员。目前致力于应用密码学，网络安全，隐私保护和基于生物特征的身份认证等的研究，在信息安全领域的重要国际期刊和会议上发表论文15余篇，其中包括IEEEConferenceonDependableandSecureComputing,InternationalConferenceonSecurityandPrivacyinCommunicationSystems,andJournalofComputerSecurity.

Biometrics-basedremoteuserauthenticationallowsaclienttoremotelyauthenticateherselftoanauthenticationserverusingherbiometrics (e.g., Fingerprint). Inthistalk,Dr.Tianwillintroducetwobiometrics-basedremoteuserauthenticationschemes. Oneisthetraditionalmethod,whichisbasedonadigitalsignatureschemeandafuzzyextractor. Theotheroneisanewapproach,whichisbasedonafuzzysignaturescheme.
