(By Tang Huiyang from School of Economics) On the afternoon of September 10th, Li Jinlin (Deputy Secretary of CPC and Principal of SCUN), Guan Hong (Director of Audit Office), and Jin Jun (Secretary of CPC of Retirement Office), visited the faculties of the School Economics and had a meeting with the teachers. The School’s leaders Li Bo, Liu Junqiang, Wu Ying and Mao Zhongming accompanied and attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Li Bo, Deputy Secretary of CPC and Dean of the School.
Before the meeting, Principal Li visited Professor Li Zhongbin and Professor Shen Daoquan, who have been teaching for over 30 years by 2021, thanking them for their contributions to the development of the school and presenting them with souvenirs as rewards.
At the meeting, the teacher representatives had an open discussion about the career development of our university and school and the work of teachers. Li Jinlin and the heads of functional departments had cordial exchanges with teachers. The teachers expressed their gratitude to Principal Li for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit our school. As teachers and admininstrators, they would put forward higher requirements for themselves, continue to strengthen their learning and continuously improve their professional ability and management level.

Principal Li extended holiday congratulations to all the teachers and wished them a happy holiday. He also thanked the teachers who have made great contributions to the development of our school, and put forward three requirements: First, loving their jobs, that is, teachers should cherish their jobs and try their best in teaching and talent training; Second, striving for excellence, which means that teachers should learn from examples, live up to the sacred position, the trust of the organization and the expectation of students; Third, working together, which requires all the teachers have team spirit and collective concept, working together under the leadership of the Party Committee and administration of the School of Economics to strive for a higher level in all aspects .
