(By Wang Na from the School of Economics) Recently, five professorsfrom South-CentralUniversity for Nationalities, including Li Bo, Dean of theSchool of Economics, have been appointed as applied think-tank experts of the12th Economic Committee of Hubei Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, after beingstudied by the Economy Directors' Conferenceof Hubei Provincial Committee ofthe CPPCCand approved by the leaders of the provincial CPPCC.

It was reported that theapplication-oriented think-tank of the Hubei Provincial Committee of Economy ofthe CPPCC were composed ofinterdisciplinary talents, research-oriented talents,expert-oriented talents and practical talents. Applied think-tanks play therole of think-tanks under the leadership of the sub-party groups of theProvincial Committee of Economy of the CPPCC. They are invited to participatein relevant meetings and activities of the Provincial Committee of Economy ofthe CPPCC, and perform their duties in the form of individual consultation,peer consultation, thematic consultation, investigation and inspection, etc.
