The 5th Hubei Provincial Higher Education Teaching Innovation Competition was guided by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education and hosted by the Hubei Provincial Higher Education Association. The final competition was held at Wuhan University of Technology from May 24th to 25th, 2025, and the final winners was announced on June 4th.

More than 400 teaching teams from 71 universities in Hubei province participated in the competition.

The course 'Organic Chemistry A1Y' taught by prof. HU Xiaoyun won the second prize for its outstanding innovative teaching design and educational effectiveness.
