Nowadays, there are numerous fraudulent methods, among which online fraud is spreading, causing serious property loss and irreparable mental harm to victims. Among them, there are many students who are victims, either cheated out of money by participating in illegal activities such as 'brushing orders' due to their greed for small gains, or deeply trapped in the other party's 'pig killing plate' due to 'online love', ultimately losing both their lives and wealth. Therefore, in March, the College of Chemistry and Materials Science held a themed class meeting on 'Preventing Telecommunications Fraud' in each branch of the School, hoping to enhance students' awareness of anti fraud and security protection.

The class meeting activities were mainly carried out through PPT explanations, video playback, and other forms. Firstly, the class leaders and group leaders of each class conducted a scientific popularization of common telecommunications fraud methods, analyzed and explained some real cases, and made students have a deeper impression of various telecommunications fraud methods. Secondly, some classes also conducted relevant anti fraud tests and improve their awareness of anti fraud.

This class reunion effectively improved the students' awareness of preventing telecommunications fraud and keep in mind that 'there is no free lunch in the world'. When dealing with any incoming information, one should always have a hint of doubt.
