Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the notice of 'The List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Specialty Construction Sites in 2020 Published by the General Office of the Ministry of Education' (No. 7 [2021] by the Department of Higher Education). According to the notice, two specialties at our School, Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Polymer Materials and Engineering ,were newly approved as the First-class Undergraduate Specialty Construction Sites in Hubei Province.

Up to now, all the four specialties of our college have been selected into the national or provincial First-class Specialty Construction Sites, including one national and three provincial sites.
